FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding Niftyoptionstrading.in — About Why We Exist, Nifty Options Trading System (CROCODILE), and Nifty Options Trading Strategies and Risk Management.

1. Why does NiftyOptionsTrading.in exist?
We exist for 2 reasons: To Educate and To Protect.
Millions of traders in India trade NIFTY options, but most don’t understand how time decay, strike selection, and risk management actually work. CROCODILE-NIFTY was built to teach the rules that matter and to protect your capital by trading only 1-5 times per month with high-probability setups.

2. What is CROCODILE-NIFTY?
CROCODILE-NIFTY is a rules-based market research system for NIFTY weekly options. It uses 4 core rules: the 1% Rule, 200-Point/48-Hour Rule, 1% Distance Rule, and 2:30 PM Exit Rule. We take trades only when the setup has a statistical edge. We borrow the crocodile’s traits: patience, discipline, and speed.

3. Are you a SEBI registered advisory service?
No. We are a market research and educational service. We publish Nifty index analysis, Nifty Option trading ideas and analysis for educational purposes. We do not offer any financial advice. You make your own trading decisions. You are responsible for your profits and losses. Please read the disclaimer on every page.

4. How are trade signals delivered?
Signals are published on our Google Sheet Dashboard that active subscribers can access 24×7. The Google sheet is view-only and updates live with entry, exit, stop-loss, and status. Please Note: We do NOT use Telegram, WhatsApp, calls, or chat groups.

5. Why don’t you use Telegram or WhatsApp for signals?
Because we want zero noise and 100% transparency. A publish-only Google Sheet is timestamped, verifiable, and free of FOMO. Everything is in one place. Questions are handled via email only at info@niftyoptionstrading.in.

6. How many trades do you take per month?
In the last 15 months of beta testing, the Crocodile has give 1 to 5 trades per month. We wait for high-quality setups only. Most months have 2-4 trades. If there’s no setup, we don’t trade. We will not force a trade just because subscribers are eager to trade! This is how we protect capital.

7. What are the core rules of the Crocodile systems?

  1. 1% Rule: Never risk more than 1% of capital per trade.
  2. 200-Point/48-Hour Rule: Trade only when NIFTY moves 200+ points in 48 hours.
  3. 1% Distance Rule: Buy options within 1% of spot price (200-300 points at current level of Nifty 25,000),
  4. Predefined Option Buying Price Bank: Buy Nifty Options that satisfy the above Rule#3 for a price between ₹20-₹60.
  5. 50-50 Rule: Target 50% up, Stop Loss 50% down. For example, a Nifty Option bought at Rs 60, has target Rs 90, and Stop loss Rs 40.

8. Why do you exit by 2:30 PM on Expiry day?
The last 30 minutes of expiry day are dominated by Theta decay and pin risk. Even if you’re in profit, holding past 2:30 PM is gambling. We exit early to lock in gains and avoid unnecessary risk.

9. Why shouldn’t you buy options above ₹100?
Options above ₹100 usually have poor risk-reward and low responsiveness. You need a very large move in NIFTY to make money, and Theta eats you if the move is slow. CROCODILE stays in the ₹20-₹60 range where moves are fast and efficient.

10. Why shouldn’t you sell options below ₹10?
Selling sub-₹10 options is “picking up pennies in front of a steamroller.” One 100-point move can turn your ₹8 short put into ₹25. The risk-reward flips against you. We only sell when premiums are above ₹100.

11. Why shouldn’t you average down on losing options?
A losing option is telling you the setup failed. Averaging down doubles your risk on a losing trade and gives Theta more capital to destroy. CROCODILE never averages down. One entry, one exit.

12. Why shouldn’t you buy calls on Friday evening?
90% of NIFTY calls held over the weekend open with a loss on Monday due to Theta decay and gap risk. NIFTY gaps up less often and less aggressively than it gaps down. We close 100% of calls by Friday 2:30 PM.

13. Why shouldn’t you buy puts after a 300-point Monday gap down?
After a big gap down, puts are overpriced and a bounce is likely. You end up buying high and selling low. Wait for the bounce to sell puts or take fresh setups mid-week.

14. How do you select the Nifty option strikes?
We stay within 300 points of the current NIFTY level. Beyond 300 points, options lose responsiveness and behave like lottery tickets. At NIFTY 25,000, 1% is 250 points. That’s our sweet spot.

15. What is your target and stop-loss?
Standard target is 50% gain. Standard stop-loss is 50% loss. We manage risk before we think about profit. No trade is worth more than 1% of your capital.

16. Do you guarantee profits?
No. No one can guarantee profits in options trading. We guarantee process, discipline, and risk management. Profits come from following the process consistently over time.

17. Who is CROCODILE-NIFTY for?
Traders who are tired of losing money to hype, want 1-5 quality trades per month, value capital protection over FOMO, and are willing to follow rules strictly.

18. Who is CROCODILE-NIFTY NOT for?
Traders looking for daily tips, “get rich quick jackpot” calls, holding positions through expiry, or trading without rules. If that’s you, this isn’t the right service.

19. How much does it cost to join the Crocodile?
For the first 200 members, subscription is ₹4,900/month including GST. After 200 members, the price increases to ₹8,900/month (standard fee). You get access to the live Google Sheet, education library, and email support.

20. Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscription is monthly. Cancel anytime. No lock-in.

21. Do you provide live support during market hours?
No live chat or calls. All support is via email at info@niftyoptionstrading.in. We respond within 24 hours on market days. This keeps the system focused on execution, not distraction.

22. Do you share past performance?
We share trade notes and results for transparency, but past performance does not guarantee future results. Markets change. Our edge comes from rules, not past trades. You are welcome to send your questions about past performance during the beta testing phase from 01 Jan 2025 till 31 March 2026 (15 months).

23. What if I’m a beginner? Can I use your system?
Yes. Start with our free blog posts and e-books. Reading them all. Learn the 5 free rules first. Only join CROCODILE-NIFTY when you understand why the rules exist and when you have at least Rs 1 lakh trading capital. We don’t recommend beginners start with real money on day 1. Education is more important than trading when you are starting.

24. Do you trade index options other than NIFTY?
No. CROCODILE-NIFTY focuses only on NIFTY weekly options. Specialization is how we maintain edge. We don’t trade BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY, or stocks.

25. What’s the biggest mistake retail traders make?
Trading daily, averaging down, buying expensive OTM options, holding over weekends, and ignoring Theta decay. CROCODILE was built to prevent these 5 mistakes. If you fix these 5, you’re already ahead of 90% of traders.
